How does billing work?

A Sprint is invoiced in two halves: one at kickoff and one on delivery. Build and Care are invoiced monthly in advance, on the first of the month, payable within 14 days by bank transfer or card.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. Every plan uses a short services agreement with no minimum term. Build and Care can be paused or stopped with 30 days’ written notice, and a Sprint ends when we hand over the plan.

What happens if the scope changes?

On a Build, scope is meant to move. We reshuffle the weekly plan in Logbook and the monthly price stays the same. If a change needs more people, we tell you in writing before anything is added to an invoice.

Can we get a refund?

If you are unhappy after the first week of a Sprint, tell us and we will refund the full kickoff payment. For Build and Care, you can stop with notice and we refund any whole weeks paid for but not yet worked.

Who owns the code and designs?

You do, from the first commit. The repository, design files, servers and domains are created in your accounts. Full ownership transfers as each invoice is paid, and we keep no rights to reuse your product.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Yes. Registered nonprofits and charities get 20% off any plan. We also take on one pro bono Sprint each quarter for a small community project. Mention it in your first message and we will send the details.
